For you, what's the difference between a Dad and a Father, a Mom and a Mother ?

Mother and Father is largely biological. Any idiot can be a mother or a father. A Mom or Dad is relational. You can be a Father and not be a Dad. A Dad is someone who loves you, supports you, and does things with you. Same for a Mom.

One is a formal name the other is a loving name
