Is this weird ?

Is it normal parenting to forbid arguments in the house?

It's how I was brought up, now that I think about it. I understand drawing the line at physical fighting, but we couldn't even raise our voices to each other.

I know my parents tried to never have arguments Infront of us. And if my one sister and I got into it we were both getting in trouble.

I don't get it
I don't either
That's good. Surely they are setting a good example of what a 'healthy' romantic relationship should be like. My parents have never raised their voices at eachother, and have tried teaching my siblings and I to settle things reasonably, with respect.

Things are definitely easier to fall out of hand amongst siblings because they're easier to forgive... I think.
I'd surely die of stroke within the first month that 'rule' is implemented. I can't suppress my discomfort.
This is how my family is

Passive aggressive does run in our family. Never thought of it that way. Like I'm hoping my grandma doesn't kick me out for defending myself towards my uncle. @Cosreal:
