Awkward moment.

I took my toddler to the park today to burn off some energy, and I saw a group of mom friends and they all had two to three kids, they seemed Asian, anyways I saw one of the women smack her toddler across the face, he was being bad or not listening I am not sure what exactly but she shouted no then slapped him in front of everyone, I know how hard it is to parents I was going to offer help but I remembered she has her friends and I had my own toddler who just hurt his knee to take care of and who is a flight risk to take care of, I don't know why but he keeps running away! Parenting is not for the weak.

@Collegegirl23 I understand the thinking behind the recommendation (child is put in more danger for embarrassing mom in public) but if the slap was forceful at all, it should be noticed by others and some form of response supplied. One of those tightropes good parents have to walk. @MyMonstersAreReal

@Alfred22 it was a small slap and he didn't cry otherwise I would have told someone, I was slapped on the face before many years ago and it really messed me up, slapping is no joke
