Where I worked, they did. It was a union shop and paternity leave had been bargained for.

We do, in some places and at some jobs. I got a few months of paternity leave when my son was born in 2024.

My employer does that.

It should be mandatory too. If men are offered paternity leave but never take it, then that gives companies an adverse incentive to discriminate against women in their childbearing years.

Totally agree... besides being able to bond with their child, it gives mom a much needed break... as you are now no doubt aware.
