Sharing Him Is the Hardest Part 🫶🏽

Coparenting is tough especially when your baby is only six months old. Some days I really hate having to share my little guy… but at the same time, I’m incredibly thankful that Matt is such an active and involved dad in River’s life.

Things between us didn’t work out the way we planned, but I’ll always be grateful that I chose a good daddy for my son.

And let’s be honest… River was a big ol’ surprise. I’m 36 years old with a six-month-old baby and definitely did not see that coming. But here we are… and he turned out to be the greatest blessing of my life.

Tonight when I get home from work, he’ll already be gone and at his dad’s until Sunday, so I’m soaking up all the baby loves I can this morning and afternoon before I have to leave. 🫶🏽

I wouldn’t change a damn thing… not even my stupid ass baby daddy. 😂

The fact that he's involved is a good thing. It means he's taking his responsibilities as a father seriously. The relationship may not have worked, but at least he wants to make sure he can take proper care of the kid when it's his turn.
