yes. take a vacation to the Bahamas.

I'm thinking that's probably better than my suggestion of Timbuktu without a phone.

@Serenitree: The idea definitely has merit.
Serenitree · F
Yes. It actually seems to work for a while. Then they forget again and you need to threaten to leave for an extended vacation in Timbuktu. Leave your phone at home. Let them figure it all out on their own. You did.

Every once in a while, I have done it. It's been a while and I'm starting to think it's time. Before I LOSE IT.

I just got back from a week's business trip. No one went shopping, did laundry, did dishes, or picked up a single thing. So make sure you stay away long enough.

Did it make you want to turn around and leave again?
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
Hell yes!
LipstickandHeels · 51-55, F
Well, a cautionary tale indeed. Thanks for the warning. I shall plan my escape carefully.

Some times you need that time to yourself and recharge and see things in a different light.
LipstickandHeels · 51-55, F
I definitely need to do more recharging. When the reserves are on empty you have nothing left to give.
Beachlover · M
@LipstickandHeels: I hope you can find it within yourself to do what you need to recharge and things work out well for you.
