Guys.. teething is going to be the end of me (not really but ughhh)

These last 4 molars my toddler is getting is bothering her so bad and shes been screaming at me because her blanket keeps falling off (because she keeps moving around) but yet she doesn’t want my help and she wants her bedtime bottle and it’s making her so mad that she can’t have it yet (she’s been asking since this morning but she only gets one a day at bedtime) I give her teething things and she screams and throws them and to make it worse she refuses naps when she’s teething… the only way she’s happy right now is in the baby carrier on my back.. she was dancing to Reba earlier but that lasted like 5 minutes

I should add that she’s almost 2 so having one bottle is fine she obviously has other things throughout the day

@MommaBear = Chill. Just remember, your own mother went through the same things with you and she treated you with love, kindness, and tenderness when you were a pain. Consider this training for when she becomes a teen.

@JackDaniels
you know nothing about personal lives on here. Judge not lest you be judge.

Don't you know that we will supposedly judge angels, so why not judge each other? I know good from evil, don't you? I know human nature and, if a parent doesn't love the child, the parent will kill it at some point in time. And, all healthy sane kids go through the same basic experiences. Parents who whine about their kids' behaviors did the same things their kids are doing that pisses them off. Their parents loved them and raised them to adulthood so they should do the same with smiles on their faces.

What I was going to recommend has been recalled due to high levels of Belladonna. 😳
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@ineedadrink what was it?!
ineedadrink · 56-60, M
@MommaBear Hylands teething pills. Was a combo of chamomile & caffeine. Caffeine was to send them up & the chamomile was calm them down into sleep. I see on the website they still offer similar products, hopefully without possible toxins.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@ineedadrink thankfully I don’t use them but it’s good to know they were recalled
Do you have a good rocking chair and a couple of good rock-a-by songs? The same songs over and over seem to work the best.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Heartlander she does not like to be rocked

Teething is never easy and all they know is their mouth hurts.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@JackDaniels I know I feel so bad I tried giving her baby Tylenol but she spits it out
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
@MommaBear doesn’t taste good. Tell her Reba takes it. Lol
Would a bigger blanket help? Harder to kick off

@ineedadrink = You must be a Christian and hate all of your family members.

Luke 14:26 (NKJV) = “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple."
I remember when my younger cousin was teething, my grandfather diluted some clove oil and used a qtip to put it on her gums, she quieted down quickly.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@NativePortlander1970 you aren’t supposed to use that on babies
@MommaBear That is why my Grandfather diluted it
@MommaBear But be safer feeling that way, you can also get baby orajel jr for teething.
