My toddler has hit the “no!” Phase..

Her: *hits her sibling*
Me: no ma’am we don’t hit can you tell them you’re sorry and give them a hug
Her: no! *grabs toy and hits sibling with toy*
Me: okay let’s go to time out then
Her: No!
😐 obviously I didn’t let her get away with it but the no phase is so fun… not 🙄

Also we are working on teaching her gentle hands but she’s stubborn so it’s taking awhile

When our older son was in the "no" phase I would ask him the following in front of guests:

If you take a function of one variable and integrate it then differentiate it, is the result any different from the original function?

And when he said "no," I'd tell the guests: "look, he understands the fundamental theorem of the calculus!!"
