Absolutely, definitely normal. Your motherly instincts kick in, to make sure he's safe. That is a natural concern that all mothers have unless they have not bonded with their child. You're a good mom. Even animals do this. However, don't make yourself sick with worry. If you're a praying person, you could pray for him and be comforted and rest, knowing the Lord is watching over him, as well.

I would say yes for multiple possible reasons. It's our instincts as mommas to be on alert for our babies. Your body just thinks your baby needs something even when he's fine and sleeping! I barely slept when I had myn, even when he slept and he was a solid good sleeper from the start really.

@Notsimilarreally it's annoying we are wired like this. I wish that our bodies were more fine tuned so it only woke up when they actually need us to wake up. Lol.
