Can I get a refresher on how this is played? Aren’t you supposed to have all three be standing?

When your child wants to play monkey in the middle (with both of their parents), why is it that the adults sit? Aren’t you supposed to stay standing in this game? I’m not too familiar with how to play, but I do know that you’re supposed to stand.So why do they do this? I mean… The child is standing, so why not the parents?

When you’re playing with little kids you sit to make it at least somewhat fair because if you were to stand the kid would never have a chance at catching it making the game pointless

the point of the game is for the person in the middle to catch the ball so you switch spots

@theweekdy so does the child have any real say in the game? The fun part about this game is the luck aspect,, with a child of any luck or would it just be all up to the parents to decide each and every outcome?
