I refuse to carry the family of a family that betrayed me after adopting me

My adopted family betrayed me and once I learned of my birth name given to me at birth by my birth parents I plan to change the adopted names given to me by my adopted parents to the name given to me at birth I refuse to carry the family name of my adopted family after they betrayed me and lied to me all these years
