If the parent can't control the kid SOMEONE has got to yell at the brat -- AND probably at the irresponsible parent, too..
@ChipmunkErnie Good way to end up in jail, like my mother almost did in 1978, and to be very honest, I wish so very much that she had.

@NativePortlander1970 Jail for yelling? Talk about a police state.
@ChipmunkErnie Yes, yelling at a child other than your own is called verbal assault upon a minor, however my mother spanked that child, one of my oldest brother's friends at the apartment complex we lived at, so it was actual assault and battery upon a minor under the age of 12, the kid's parents agreed not to press charges if we moved out, no one at the complex liked my mother, she was, and still is, a loudmouth gossip.

@NativePortlander1970 No wonder the country is falling apart -- I mean the yelling thing, not touching someone else's kid.
@ChipmunkErnie My mother always loved complaining about other parents not raising their kids right, while pretty much ignoring my older brothers and myself.

@NativePortlander1970 Someone should have yelled at her. ;)
@ChipmunkErnie She was yelled at by others all the time for starting shit all the time, she once told me a few years ago that we moved 17 times in 12 years, claiming each and every forced move was someone else's fault.
