Idk why I get so angry when one of my parents stop to listen in on my phone conversations.

Like....can you please mind your own business? Why do you have to stand in my face and stare at me curiously? Isn't it a normal thing to be on the phone in this house?

I got furious and went to sit in another room. Then my dad played the victim card. "Can't she have a conversation in front of us? Why is that offensive?"

Because it is. It just is. Idk why.

Some cultures do not have any concept of privacy. My mother culture is the same.

When it is male members of the family I talk about periods , in details describing everything, they get uncomfortable , often call me crazy and leave.

When it is females, I talk very loudly about it and they don't want to be spotted around me so they leave.

I picked other embarrassing stuff over the years to make them understand privacy including sharing their secrets over the phone🤷🏻‍♀️ they eventually stopped getting involved in my business
