Is it just me?

Is anyone else experiencing frustration with their children's behavior during the summer and looking forward to them going back to school? I feel like a terrible mom for even feeling that way. Maybe it's because this year I have the ability to work from home, and just happen to be around more, but I truly look forward to the 28th!

My daughter starts kindergarten this year… I’m excited for her but I’m going to miss her terribly (hahaha I make it sound like she is moving away for college)

@WaryWitchWandering Things are a lot different at that age. When mine started kindergarten I missed them terribly as well. School does change kids unfortunately. The issues you’ve always tried to shield them from as much as you can, become a reality they are faced with everyday from outside sources.

@SW-User one of my fears… I just pray I gave the right guidance to steer them through and cope with stuff as well

@WaryWitchWandering That’s really all you can do. Teach them what’s right and wrong and pray they make the right decisions. From my experience, none of the big problems started until the end of elementary school, so you should be in good shape for a few years at least. A lot depends on the area too.

@WaryWitchWandering Thank you. It’s just been a tough week and I’ve been thinking about everything more than I should.

@SW-User can you take a break? Have a few hours solely for you? Or a night?

@WaryWitchWandering Unfortunately that’s not really much of an option
