Is it just me?

Is anyone else experiencing frustration with their children's behavior during the summer and looking forward to them going back to school? I feel like a terrible mom for even feeling that way. Maybe it's because this year I have the ability to work from home, and just happen to be around more, but I truly look forward to the 28th!

Trust me I was in your shoes, but I couldn't send them off to school.

I didn't believe in the USA education system. So we homeschooled them.

So we were stuck with the little monsters till they moved out

@HumanEarth Glad I'm not alone. The USA education system certainly needs a lot of work, I wish I had the ability to homeschool, but then again I could see us killing each other if I tried. LOL

@HumanEarth I can only imagine. I feel like I'm already punishing mine too much as it is, I couldn't imagine trying to be their full time teacher too. I've always felt it was ironic how much everyone brags on their behavior when I'm not around. I just wish they could act that way with me.

@HumanEarth 9? I guess I shouldn't be complaining about 2. LOL

I notice that the girls had a more nastier mean streak then the boys. But the boys were a lot more destructive

@SW-User How do you mean that the USA system needs a lot of work - it sounds like you use cp at home but your children's schools do not?

@SW-User You represent their “safe space”…they’ll try to push their limits around you, to determine what they are…because they know that, no matter what, you’re still their mom…and no one else can say that…🙂

@HumanEarth You do know that's straight up child abuse right?
