Can losing a parent

can a girl losing a parent to suicide or any type of death cause mental issues growing up

I lost both my parents and all 3 siblings when i was 17 and it fucked me up for a long time. They didnt die from suicide but from a car accident. But i seen a therapist for years dealing with survivors guilt.
