Any advice for first time moms?

Anyone have any advice for first time moms?
I'm new at this and went from having supportive family to questioning whether if they are supportive or not.

coming from a child of an abusive parent/family, please don’t whoop/beat your child. it will hurt them later on in life, and it will affect them in their day to day life at some point. please don’t do it. also, congratulations <3
