Daughter has become distant since new baby

Hi ! Has anyone else experienced the following and / or have any advice ?

I have a 23 month old daughter who has always been a mummy’s girl. Since I had my second child (3 weeks ago), she is all for her Dad and hardly acknowledges me when he is around.

I find this so hard and upsetting to deal with and I’m hoping someone will tell me it’s a temporary thing ?

She loves her new sibling , always giving kisses, the only time she doesn’t like is when I am breastfeeding.

Has she just naturally progressed into a daddy’s girl , or is it something else ?

Give her a little mother daughter time, where dad looks after baby - and she's your sole focus for an hour or two a day.

She's gone from being the main focus of your attention to suddenly having to share you with a sibling who's getting more attention than she is... how would you feel if your boyfriend/husband told you that he's getting a new partner - and s/he is getting all his attention while you stand there and watch???

It's the same thing for your daughter.
