Daughter has become distant since new baby

Hi ! Has anyone else experienced the following and / or have any advice ?

I have a 23 month old daughter who has always been a mummy’s girl. Since I had my second child (3 weeks ago), she is all for her Dad and hardly acknowledges me when he is around.

I find this so hard and upsetting to deal with and I’m hoping someone will tell me it’s a temporary thing ?

She loves her new sibling , always giving kisses, the only time she doesn’t like is when I am breastfeeding.

Has she just naturally progressed into a daddy’s girl , or is it something else ?

i'm not or never have been a parent, but let me put my 2 cents worth here. i believe it to be a temporary thing and you may be over thinking it. you and dad seem like good parents and that's all that matters for you and your daughter to bond into a great friendship (not just mom and daughter) when she gets older...congrats on your new baby and have a wonderful life with your young family. ❤️
