I told my parents about a girl I might meet.

My coworker wants me to meet her. So I brought it up to my mom. She said no, she sounds like trouble. Then I asked me dad. He was like, "Sure, meet her" and then they started arguing. 😂

Yes I'm an adult and I can do my own thing but they're old and wise and I value their input... and this was funny.

I wish there were girls where i work but there are only a few due to the environment we work in. They have jobs like labeling box. I work in a 100 degree heat in what we call the "melt shop". There's this one girl from Yemen who is friendly to me but she is probably one of the few women i see and i rarely see her since my shift starts when her's ends. I met her when her and I worked the same shift. She'd take her breaks with me and she bring me food she made at home.

I kinda miss working with women. In our department there has NEVER been one female employee and as my coworker put it "no women would survive here".

You are lucky, though. You should definitely keep this girl, man.

I had a friend who worked a job like that. The guy knew all about cars and they laughed at him when he ask them if he could actually go from just selling parts to working on cars.

Believe it or not, after years of being there he's the boss now lol

@GanglandCriminal97 No, we don't do mechanical stuff. I have to tell people, every day, that we don't do brakes. But maybe someday I will.

Haha I remember a great boss I used to have who said that when he was young and first started, everyone said he wouldn't make it. Now he's the service manager.
