Homework question

Forgive my poor grammar I am writing it the way it appeared on my son's worksheet

Would you say you belong to a white-collar family, or a blue-collar family?

I'm offended by this question, and I don't want him to do the assignment but he's 12 and he doesn't want to not do the assignment in fear I am going to get him in trouble.

Too bad, if I rip it up how big of a b**** on a scale of 1-10 does that make me, oh and if your kid is doing a homework assignment you don't agree with would you rip it up?

I personally don't care if someone thinks I'm white collar versus blue collar. I've been both in my lifetime. I'm not sure why a teacher would ask that though.

I have no clue why it was on his paper. I just don't feel comfortable with it, to me it is a way to signal out and divide.
