Why is my mom so obsessed with feeding me? Does this instinct ever stop?

I won’t be hungry but then she keeps naming options… then comes back… names more options. So I just give up and eat, to appease her. It’s sweet lol but she’s going to make me fat 💀

I believe mom's never ever lose that instinct. I'm over 40 and my mom still tries to feed me.. by baking me cookies, banana bread, making me dinner and bringing it over to me etc
