Stepping Into a New Chapter

After 10 unsuccessful months of trying to conceive, DH and I have decided to see a fertility clinic to find out what our options are for IVF/IUI. I know I said this was NOT on the table because it’s too expensive. Well we needed to know exactly what that expense would be for us. Good news is that I had an HSG while there and the doc said to me “ your uterus is perfect!” 😎 I told him ‘thank you for saying that out loud!’ —there’s nothing worse than not knowing if you’re the cause of your family’s reproductive struggle. Now we’re waiting on the test results for his semen analysis which, the doc said is historically 60% of cases for infertility in couples.
——— edited to add Update: semen analysis result show he’s got a perfect # of actively fast and forward moving sperm! If I’m not pregnant this current cycle, our next appointment will be in two weeks to confirm my bloodwork of quality eggs and that I am in fact ovulating every month 🤞🏻ONE STEP CLOSER to becoming a mom
