What are traits of narcissistic parents?
Narcissism is new word I discovered. I’m not so sure I really understand what it means. I think I do but I’m just not quite sure. Do any of you guys have narcissistic parents?

My stepfather was a (diagnosed) narcissist. He regularly lectured me about how he knew what I was feeling better than I did, took no responsibility for himself or his actions, and was manipulative and abusive to me and to my mom. When he was home my mother had to pay full attention to him or he would absolutely freak out. Like she couldn’t leave the room he was in. It really tears you down and messes with your mind.
