I got an ultrasound today

I got my fetal anatomy ultrasound today. It went great, everything was there and where it should be. They even remembered to warm up the ultrasound jelly this time too. My heart still races a little in anticipation when the ultrasound is placed on my baby bump. It was hard to keep from constantly checking the monitor but since we want this baby to be a surprise I had to wait till I was told it was okay to look. 😄
Getting an ultrasound is a lot more difficult this time around. They are spacing the appointments out more so the waiting room doesn't get filled up and also instead of bringing my husband and kids with me they had to stay home. It made the appointment feel kind of lonesome but thankfully there was another mom to be in the waiting room to chat with. That definitely made the experience a lot better. It reminded me of going to prenatal yoga classes and chatting after class.
