Did you grow up with strict parents?
I mean, we lived in the hood so they kind of had to be.

I guess it’s relative. They were more strict with their first three kids than with their youngest, and especially less so with my niece, whom they basically raised. They admit they made mistakes in the beginning and used the way they were parented as their guide, which makes sense.

@bijouxbroussard My parents were a bit stricter with my brother, since he was the oldest and had two younger sisters.

@bijouxbroussard My dad calls it First Pancake Syndrome. Says my brother didn't flip right because the pan wasn't hot enough. 😂
