Dear Mommies & Daddies +Guardians

I have a question, (Sibilings, Aunties, Uncles, and Grandparents) welcomed here as well :) . What are some things you have forgotten to buy or put on your registry for your newborn and-or yourself post pregnancy? Also, what are some things a new mom may not know to buy that she may need or any weird things she may get caught off guard without at any given moment?..Hey, any odd deets about a newborn/post pregnancy in general will be appriciated as well.

Get all the sleep you can now. After having a baby, it does not matter how wonderful the husband is, your time is not your own. Keep changes of clothes for you and extra changes of everything in the car. You never know when the little one will need a change or will spew everywhere. Do the bag inserts for bottle and get a baby bottle brush. Don't sweat it when you make any mistakes, he/she is very forgiving. When the child gets older, realize that sometimes things do not go as planned so be patient; like with potty training and any regressing.

Thanks, the car thingy totally wasnt on my mind. Im definitely getting as much sleep as i can now,i know a mother is on call for the rest of her life lol 😩 what age should you start potty training?

That is up to you and the child. If he/she does well around 18 months or so, fine. But be patient and understanding if he/she goes until 3 Or 4 (and I am referring to wetting). And it is ok (to me) if there is regression a little or accidents. Just clean it and move on and encourage them that accidents happen. Trust me, eventually they will get tired of looks or being made fun of or having to miss out because of clothes being changed.
