what to say to your daughter's bf who is 20yrs older than her?

What would you do/say if you meet your daughter's boyfriend who is 20's yrs older than your 19-year-old daughter? I asked my daughter to bring him at our house for dinner and we meet him for the first time. It's not like their getting married but just to meet him and know him.

I hate to say this, but I think the more you say about it, the more she'll want to see him. I wouldn't say anything. She would do what she wants to do regardless. At that age, she'd resent anything you have to say, and may sneak out of the house to see him if you say no. I'm sorry. I know it's hard. I know that's lousy advice, but it's all I've got right now. If you're a praying woman, I'd be praying.

Sad right. I'm so trapped with just one option for now, that is to let her do what she's just wants to. I suspect that she has the father complex in her. Thanks for your kind advice.
