Is there anyone else in a rocky relationship but also have a young child together?
It's rough and I hate when my little boy sees us fighting

Ugh... Been here.
Nothing makes you feel so bad as when the light ypur child holds for you gets dimmed.
The only way is to stop fighting - which of course doesn't happen.
Young kids operate on a different wavelength than adults - you can try and hide it - but they still FEEL it.
It takes concerted effort on both your parts.... Which if course also doesn't happen!
Leave or give in?
I dunno - you find your own solution.
Depends what you're arguing avout.
For me - it was for my rights as a human...so I never gave in - it was bloody ugly.
So many regrets of what my children saw !
But.... In my case.... I didn't want them to learn that one gives up ones rights.
And that no matter how hard - theyre worth fighting for... Again and again and again.
If it's bad... Counselling.... if it's not worth the big picture.... Let it go.

Peace has been replaced by a depressing calm.
I know that it's just I'm not used to not beibg on high alert and continually dealing with his behaivour... It's like coming down... I know what it is, I know that it will abate.... Just hard to deal with atm.

@OogieBoogie Take your time, my friend. I remember my first day after he left. The thief. I turned my music down. I said why should I? He is no longer here. I can play it as loud as I want.
