I don't have children.
But at my job, I see so many clients 'unable' to work, because they have a small child.
We can help pay for childcare temporarily, however, the parent has to pay after that is up. Many are not able to.

So they rely on/wait for government assistance.

I wish we had a daycare here.
I see some that truly want to work. I see others who just want handouts.

We need to have government policies which support and encourage families. The corporations (as well as the feminists) need to be kicked in the butt -- it is just as important (and rewarding) that mothers stay home and take care of children as cranking out widgets in a factory, etc. Men need to be kicked in the butt to step up to their responsibility to work and care for their family. The corporations need to be kicked in the butt to provide "breadwinner" (jobs with a salary which can support a family -- making the working mom unnecessary)
