I don't have children.
But at my job, I see so many clients 'unable' to work, because they have a small child.
We can help pay for childcare temporarily, however, the parent has to pay after that is up. Many are not able to.

So they rely on/wait for government assistance.

I wish we had a daycare here.
I see some that truly want to work. I see others who just want handouts.

It doesn't surprise me with what answer is in the lead right now. People are so judgemental and make things so black and white ignoring the grey areas. What if one parent dies? What if a job is lost and they are doing their best with a new, but lesser paying job? Regardless of whether or not they can afford it child care is ridiculous with the amount of taxes we have to pay and hours we have to work.

@ChiyoSKL but at the same time you want livable wages for childcare workers?

@MarineBob they still don't get paid. It's all being used for profit. I have a friend who does childcare and is paid less than me even though the parents pay out the ass.

@ChiyoSKL I haven't checked the poll. What do you think should be done?

Those are all good points
