Am I being petty n just drop it?

HeI'm changing baby's diaper abt 20 mins ago and I noticed a difference in the diaper...I realised my mother in law fed my baby food behind my back..(MIL babysits during the day while I'm at work..she's paid). So I was like 'Hun, someone give baby food today'. He was like 'how u know?' I told him I know. He said she had a lil piece of breadfruit. I asked him how does he know... He said he give baby the food. But we both reached home from work abt an hr ago. N baby had food during the day cause she already messed the diaper. I am upset that I didn't know n my sig. Other told me I'm being petty.

I absolutely understand how you feel. It's your baby, not hers. You now have two choices. Fire her as the sitter or sit down and discuss it. Women who have raised children tend to ignore parental instructions and use their own methods.

I don't think it's petty to be angry. It is, most likely, not constructive. Add in the fact that your SO is her son - proof that she raised at least one live child.

If she (and he) clearly understood "no solid food" was to be fed, it certainly looks like he is more likely to obey his mother than you.

@Mamapolo2016 thank u... That last line have me really thinking... U always give good advice
@destinyfabulous Then let me offer one more piece of advice. I really do understand how you feel about this. It was an important milestone you were looking forward to.

Think very carefully before you take any major steps. Some things are worth taking a stand about - and some aren't. Only you can know which this is.

Why cant she feed your baby?

@CodeLyoko she can. However i feel disrespected cause it was done behind my back. I had big plans on holding my baby n feeding her solids for the first time. It was a big transition for me.

You exhibit some of the worst grammar, syntax and punctuation that I have ever read.
Sorry, just the facts, ma'am.
The use of the word like is out of control.
