Grew up feeling inferior to everyone. Grew up believing verbally abusing other people was normal.

@Gelartsyyy I'm sorry that such a terrible childhood. Any substance or alcohol addiction on your parents side?
Gelartsyyy · 22-25, F
@jlsdjfhasdljfhasdfa Well, can't do anything about it now 😅 None.

@Gelartsyyy 😢 i can relate to this on all levels. Specifically, having a narcissist for a mother. Who thought yelling, screaming, and beating us was “normal”. And I’ve picked up a lot of those habits, the difference is, I know it’s wrong and have been doing the work to unlearn all of that behavior. Her? Not so much.

My grandmother was the same. Verbally and somewhat physically abusive to her children. The cycle continued, in turn she had a bunch of f**ked up kids... 2 narcissistic children, 2 drug addicted children, and 2 overly promiscuous children.

@Mrowe718 It's sad how most abusive parents fail to notice how their abuse can continue on to the next generation. I guess we're both lucky we were able to acknowledge the bad habits we learned, and are actively trying to unlearn them. I'm gonna let this die with me.

@Gelartsyyy I understand. I, too,I spent a lot of my life feeling inferior to everyone. I automatically thought I was 2nd class.
