Smoking cigarettes around your kid?

My parents used to smoke around me as a kid, and even though I would complain that I couldn't breathe, they'd just keep going. They did finally quit smoking entirely, but it was a rough time for my weak lungs. I still can't really breathe when tobacco smoke is in the air.

@FaeLuna my dad use to gas us in the car with no windows down when it was raining... as very young kids.
