It's on the same order of men liking men or women liking women. It's all a personality disorder. And if you find out what you want to know - what is disowning them going to do for it? They need treatment and to stay away from parks, schools, or playgrounds. The latest one we had in this category lived right across the side street where he was a substitute gym teacher. He would take the kids to his apartment (mostly boys) after school and end up by spanking them. This went on for several years until one child spilled the beans to another kids' parents.

@MaryJanine i do think that both are disorders. It's a mental and spiritual issue. I am also a sexual abuse survivor.

@Herzigoner More power to you. But that is not my definition - I took the report out of the local daily paper and that was the words and definition they used.
