Have you/ What would you do if you: used ancestry dna testing and found out the family you knew was a lie?

Haven't done any ancestry tests. Don't intend to send me DNA off to companies like that until I feel confident enough in their handling of the data.

If I did though and that situation arose it wouldn't matter much to me. Sure, there'd be a few questions, like why I wasn't told earlier and such, but at the end of the day my family has raised me in a way that has never made me doubt that I was their own. That's good enough for me.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet oh, I have no doubt they're doing EVERY CONSPIRACY THEORY ever imagined, plus a few we might have missed.

@LETICIA Maybe, wouldn't surprise me, but honestly I don't know. I've just gone the precautionary route for the time being. Still a fairly "young" market so I'll keep an eye on how it matures first.
