What do you argue over the most with your kids?

I have a love hate relationship with school where my kids are concerned. Love them going but hate the fight over homework and grades. Today I鈥檓 the worst mother on earth for grounding my son over the weekend. 2 weeks in and he鈥檚 failing health plus has a D in science. 馃槖馃槖馃槖

Mine are both adults entering the home stretches for their bachelor鈥檚 degrees. My role is strictly that of friend and advisor at this stage. For the most part, I just stay out of the way and let them solve their own problems, and if I find out about it, they usually tell me after they鈥檝e come up with the solution.

My goal was always that they should be solving their own problems by 18, and it started by allowing them to own the consequences when they messed up or made bad decisions. It wasn鈥檛 always pretty, but it worked. @LittleBittyPretty1
