Is raising a child free of gender roles a good idea?

@TerryCutter Mine turned out fine without being constraind by outdated gender roles. They didn't need that crap.

@TerryCutter I have answered the post. I wasn't having a pop at your either, just pointing out that my children didn't need to be forced into inappropriate gender roles. I call gender roles crap just as you call gender neutrality crap. You need to grow a thicker skin or, as you attach so much importance to gender, man up.

@Sharon no disrespect intended to you but my kids were brought up not to have a go at those who had different ideas n opinions. you bring your free and easy genders up with the mouth like you have n sooner or later your thin skin is gonna be carting daisies to their hospital beds. mouth off when its needed not just to execise a waggin tongue

@TerryCutter You should try practising what you preach. You don't need to threaten me just because I brought my children up to be themselves and not feel constrained by gender roles. I don't blame you though, you were probably brought up to be a macho-man and taught that violence is preferable to discussion.

@Sharon Give you a bit of advo. if you wanna run your mouth like a motor stick a silencer on it and run it on respect n not crybaby tears. youre the only one whos miffed. end of the day even if some kids are brought up in a gender free zone we wouldnt rag on them like youre ragging on everyone here. being buthurt is no lesson to teach your kids. youll learn that from them when you can put your mouth in low gear.
