Is raising a child free of gender roles a good idea?

My son wasn't directly taught gender roles, is a straight a student and hates drinking and smoking.

@GoldenWorm because the right wing aren't for freedom and liberty in actuality. They want the government to control gender and what two men or two women do in private.
