It sounds like you two have trouble communicating. You need to sit down with him with no distractions and have a brutally honest discussion about this and other important topics that affect your future together. Assuming this baby is in the context of marriage, find a marriage counseling couple (so you get both gender viewpoints) to help you answer this question and others. Don't go on this hike without a map.
