Should housewives be payed?

Personally i think they should. Running a house is like running a company. Long, thankless hours of taking care of other people should be rewarded..

Only if they don't live in a community property state and they agree not to share in the assets of and the money the main income earner makes. In other words, that's dumb if they are life partners.
