Are you retired, yet?

My dad is a physician, and mom is a college professor. Dad is thinking of retirement within the next couple of years, and mom will probably keep teaching for another few. I'm only 31 so I have many years to go before I think about it 😂.

They live near the beach, live a quiet life and my mother is full time carer to my father who has dementia.

Their grandkids help out on w/ends and my sister I pop by from time to time to check in on them.
