My mother's first marriage was an arranged marriage. Same age difference. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Hers lasted about 20 years until he past away. He wasn't my father and I never knew him.

I doubt a few can relate to the why of the situation in that story. Arranged marriage is totally foreign to many.
