Have you ever had one parent try to poison you against the other?
It's a strange thing to experience. It also lets you see how that particular parent really feels and what they're willing to do to get their way.

I've had both parents try to poison me against the other. The anger and resentment, the petty remarks, remained until each of their deaths. I loved my parents but I didn't like either one of them. They weren't people I would choose as a friend. Both were toxic in different ways.
