I wanna see my absent mother but my dad doesn't thing it's a great idea. What should I do?

I'm thinking about visiting my mom before my senior year starts which is in two weeks. My mom said goodbye to us and left letters for us to have her own life. No she didn't abandon us. Anyways so my mom is......well busy. I've been waiting for a phone call all day today and she never called. I called her twice but she never picked up. She told me she was going to arrive at my 13th birthday. I've waited for 9 hours. My dad distracted me by games, dancing and wanted me to have fun which I did. My dad kept telling me to not get my hopes up. My mom never showed up. I called and asked what happened. She never called back. Then two months later she said she forgot and didn't feel sorry for it. I'm thinking about living with her but my dad doesn't know about it. My best girl plans said it's a crazy idea and I'll end up hurt again as usual. This time I'm sure my mom will appricate it.

I just need my mother and my dad said seeing her isn't worth it and she is just going to hurt me again.

Your mom doesn't seem to deserve or appreciate the special gift you are. Don't make it easy. Even though you crave her love. Love yourself, protect yourself, do whats best for you

Don't worry, you might not know it now but you'll be stronger because of this impact on your life. Hopefully if you have kids, youll be the best mom you can. And it sounds like dad is trying. Soon youll really appreciate all he's done
