I don't wanna come off as offensive but why are most daughters so ATTACHED to their mothers so much?

My girlfriends including best friends are so close with their mothers. They have wonderful bonds and that's great but I also get jealous when I see that and others because they had mothers in their lives. Even ones that have mothers that live in a different place, they get to talk to them and visit and their mothers are happy to see them. I get bitter and sad too. Mother and daughter days I NEVER got to experience that. My mom....is a deadbeat woman. Let's just say that. She wasn't really part of my life and didn't want is. She thought I was a mistake. Why can't I have a mother to talk to? It isn't fair!
