Anyone here a stay at home parent?

What's your view on stay at home parents?

I had a unique scenario for most of my kids’ childhoods. I’ve been working from home for years, so I was able to make the money [i]and[/i] be a stay home dad at the same time. I realize that’s a rare luxury, and I’m eternally grateful to have been able to provide financially while also being there for my kids and taking care of things at home, too. Any way you can manage to be a stay home parent or have your partner stay at home is a good thing in my mind. There is no substitute for time, and there’s no way to regain it once it’s lost.

@SW-User I agree. Thats what my husband and I have been doing since our oldest was born. He managed to get a management job that was completely online, and I was able to get a baking job from home. So during different period, we would switch roles as stay at home parents. It's been me for the past few years, because I liked my stay at home job far more than he liked his
