How were you disciplined growing up?

My parents didn't hesitate to use corporal punishment if they felt it was necessary (and in some cases it really wasn't). I could never do that to my kids if I had any.

I was incredibly spoiled. Never grounded or any chores or any punishments. Am I a spoiled brat now who is very materialistic? Yeah. And no I don't care.
