@tring2222 she would say to her you need to listen to your dad when i was her age i had my mouth washed out with soap for cussing in front of my dad after that i didn't cuss in front of either of my parents

@tiggerandariel13 I'd remind her of the rules of tattling which include getting paddled and threatening me would make sure she didn't sit for a weekend. With the kids in school we use the weekends to do the big punishments so they can have time to heal before school starts. I have paddled my kids at their grandma's house for telling my mom things I do. They know I don't deal with tattle tellers and that's what they get for it. Happened two weeks ago because my oldest decided she wanted Grandma to be on her side about going to a party with just a bunch of kids and no grownups. She's 13 as easy going as my mom is with them and how much she lets them do that wasn't okay by her. It was a long ride home with seatbelts on and no cushions for flaming bottoms and her dad issued a reminder when we got home about tattling and about us saying no to the party so she didn't have a great weekend over all
