Do most daughters prefer their mothers or their fathers?

I love my parents equally and close to both it I'm more closer to my mom. I dont know why. I can tell her anything. Well I can tell mh dad anything too but with my mom, I can tell her about girl problems and she can relate. Moms are so special and that mother and daughter bonding is special. Daddy and daughters are too though.
One girl got bitter and jealous that she saw me with my mom (her Meom abandoned her as a child). I feel bad for her though.
